About the SBCC Center for Lifelong Learning
Welcome to the SBCC Center for Lifelong Learning (CLL).
We invite everyone in the community to come try something new, to follow a dream, to hone skills for success, to stay fit and healthy, to travel the world right in your own backyard, to find your center, and to discover your potential at any age. You can all do this at the CLL among friends, in a welcoming, encouraging environment with professionals sharing their expertise as your teachers, guides and mentors.
The CLL is committed to responding to the needs of our diverse community and offers hundreds of weekday, evening and weekend classes available in over 25 programs, all taught by our professional experts. Your needs, your passions, your community.
Our core belief is that lifelong learning is critical to the vitality of our community, and our values include ensuring that these programs remain vibrant and accessible. The CLL is conceived as a premier, first-class program – one with rich, dynamic, and vital offerings.
These defining concepts for the CLL have been shaped by our dedicated staff with the support of volunteer advisers from all walks of life in Santa Barbara – it has been, and remains a true community venture.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need help registering, would like to teach, have ideas for a class, or if you have any suggestions or questions about anything.
Looking forward to seeing you in our classes.
